Hi All, What a wet start to spring!!!!!! We had a very busy programme in August with the Men’s and Ladies Strokeplay and our Waikato Foursomes Tournament. Well done to all our new Club Champions. Match play started this month with our finals day on the 27th of September. We hope everyone that doesn't make it in to a finals will come and watch. On the last weekend of August we held the Waikato Foursomes. Our turn out wasn’t flash with only 35 pairs playing in it, but the event was great. Awesome golfers playing, great food and amazing prizes. Thank you and well done to everyone that helped with the tournament. Hopefully we get more entries next year. We have 2 Waikato Quads here in October. The 1st one is the 3rd and 4th of October. We host the Men’s Master Quad. They will be playing 2 rounds on the Saturday and 1 Round on the Sunday. The course is not closed but please give way to these golfers. I will be emailing tee offs before the day. We have got the Waikato girls Quad here on the 17th and 18th of October. The course is closed for this one but you are more than welcome to come and watch these amazing and talented ladies play. Coring is on the 19th to the 21st of October. Course is closed for coring and reopening on the 22nd of October. Remember the driving range is still open. We also have reciprocal rights with Stewart Alexander when our course is closed. King Country Champions are coming up. 2nd of October for the Ladies and the 3rd and 4th for the Men. We have got 3 Ladies teams and 2 Men's teams. We are looking for 3 more men to make up a 3rd men's team. Please contact Matt to put your name down by Friday. Our compressor at the moment is not working but we are working on it so we can all get back to using it. Any questions about things like that, please come and have a chat with Matt.
