APPLICATION TO WAIPA DISTRICT COUNCIL

The Board is pleased to confirm the application to rezone two pieces of land to residential has now been lodged with Waipa District Council. This is the next stage and a major step in the Club's plan to redevelop the golf course.

The Board has been working very closely with our planners CKL and with Council, and we are pleased to confirm that the Council has accepted the Club's application without requesting any more information from the Club (an achievement in itself).

Council will shortly be publicily notifying the application, and the Board believes that our members should know about this latest development before the general public does.

PLAN

Attached is a copy of the plan showing the areas proposed to be rezoned residential. The application itself covers over 100 pages. Once Council publicily notify the application the full details will be available on the Council website so anybody will be able to access it there.

SUBMISSIONS

Anyone who believes they have an interest in the rezoning application is entitled to make a submission. The submission can either be in support of or opposition to the application. Your Board firmly believes the proposal to purchase the block next door, the rezoning and sale of the land set out in this application and the redevelopment of the Golf Course is in the best interests of your Club.

Therefore, your Board encourages Club members to make a submission in support of the rezoning application.
