COMMENT---
Its quite
simple to say "no comment" re this situation, but when one looks
at the Handicap listings of our Club membership, then view the
entries for the Club Championships, the first word that comes to mind
is---- PATHETIC.----
For
the writer, who has looked forward to, and competed in every
championship for over forty years( and recorded one Intermediate and one Junior B win), the apparent lack of interest for this
event is quite disturbing and disappointing for our Club,and he
now asks
WHY ?
Where are we heading ? What can be done
to restore this great event on our Club programme ? Perhaps YOU,and only
you, the non participant can supply the answers. What are we doing
wrong?----- Don't hold back,------ let it all out. ----- TELL
US .-----

Waikato Foursomes and Demo Day

Big reminder!!!!!!!!!!! The entries close on the 17th of August. So get them in quick. Cobra demo day is Friday the 28th from 10am to 2pm, So come and try there new gear. If you want a fitting please book in with Matt 07 871 5661. All members need to help full these tournaments. Get the word out that we are have a tournament and promote the club. |

Working Bee

On the 23rd of August at 8am, we are having a working bee. Please come along and help out. There will be a scramble after for everyone that would like to play golf when its done. |

Club Championship

For everyone that would like to play the Matchplay. You need to play 2 rounds. The last 2 rounds are this Saturday and Sunday. To all of our Senior handicappers. There is only 7 that have qualified so far. We would really like a full field, so come out and play this weekend and qualify for our club Championships. See you all out there!!!!!!! |

Do you have a grip that needs to get regripped. It might make the different between a good round and a bad round. Matt is doing regripping.
