Mangers Notes

Getting to the end of October and we have only seen a handful of dry days, Lets hope that the weather gets a lot better as we have got quite a few things on in the next two Months. As we get closer to our AGM and Closing day Ambrose, we would like to ask everyone if they would like to be on a committee for the new year. We start our new programme next month and would like to carry on the proactiveness of our Board and golf committee we already have. If you would like to be part of these committee's please put your name forward on the nomanation froms. Twlight, Melbourne cup midweek, Gener8 Club day, 54 hole mixed foursomes, Xmas tournaments and our closing day ambrose are what we would like you to support. Club member support is huge for a club like us, we need all participation that we can get. So please enter in our tournaments, come and support the bar and cafe. It mean's a lot to us. Very sad news, Phil Brown has left us due to health problems. He will be very much missed and we appreciate everything he has done for us. Thank you so much for all your hard work Phil. He will pop up when he can, so remember to say "hi" We welcome Paul Brown, Phil's nephew, to our course staff. Thanks to everyone that we see out here for your support of our club, Matt |

What is happening at Gener8 Te Awamutu Golf Club, - Our new sponsors board has gone up, Thanks to all the support we get from our sponsors
- Jill Morgan Played number 1 from the top Ladies Waikato Team in the Dunes Quad, well done Jill
- We didn't end up coring, we vertidrained and verticut. Our greens are looking great.
- We welcome Paul Brown, our new course worker.
- I heard the Ladies Mystery Bus trip was great but what happens on tour, stays on tour.
- Twilight started last night
- Twilight teams/Business House starts next Wednesday, get your teams in. (Form attached)
- Club day 10, Combined pairs. Shotgun start at 10am. Sunday 13th November.
- Melbourne Cup midweek , next Tuesday.(Have you got your name on the start sheet?)
- Ladies AGM and Prizegiving on the 16th of November
- 54 Hole Mixed foursomes on the 19th and 20th. (Get your entries in asap)

- We have our Champions going to Champs of champs on the 20th of November

Social Night

Thank you to everyone that came to our 2016 Gener8 Awards night with Steve Williams. It was an amazing night and fun was had by all. Steve Williams said "It was great to see everyone put in so much effort" Congratulations to all our Champions A evening like that couldn't go ahead with out some great people. Our Twilight started last night, and will be every Wednasday until 14th December Tee off between 2pm and 6pm. Entry $5 Anyone can enter. Our Twilight Teams start on the 2nd of November Get your teams in now.

SHOOTOUT 2016
|
Attention All Men, If you would like to make the TOP 19 in the shootout. You will need to pay for some more rounds. The cut off looks like 197. Great to see 54 entries in our shootout this year. We will be having 2 Men's shootouts this year, a Top 19 and a Bottom 19 We will also have a Culcutta on the 2nd of December at 6pm which everyone playing in the shootout needs to come along. I have attached a list of the current scores. Get in and put some more rounds in guys. The pools might be: The Top 19 will play for a pool of $2500 The Bottom 19 Will play for a pool of $200 |

We have a daytime one 9.30am-11am and an after work one 5.30pm-7pm
