GOLF AT ALERT LEVEL 3
Good Afternoon

The weather conditions for golf today was perfect and I hope you are enjoying playing golf at Alert Level 3. After tomorrows announcement we anticipate golf at Alert Level 2.

Alert Level 2 means less restrictions, extended bubbles and maybe even our sit down and chat over a drink in the Clubhouse. If this is how we see golf then why is it so hard to put up with a week of Level 3. Members playing in their bubble (household bubble) are concerned that our members are not sticking to the Alert Level 3 rules. Why are you joining up once you are out of sight of the starter or playing in 5s? Why are you going out before the first tee time, have you booked in online, have you scanned the QR code?

The Club is responsible for having accurate records. The Club is responsible for keeping you safe while out on the golf course - so you need to help us, by booking online, checking in, and contract tracing and keeping to your bubbles.

The Club decided to open so that you could play golf, please don't make us regret this decision. A Club in the Bay of Plenty has already faced consequences by not following the guidelines and have been shut down.  If we are to continue to remain open and not follow the same fate please stick to the rules - we all have them.

We want you to keep playing golf, I want to play golf, so lets stick to the rules so we remain open throughout the levels.

Good golfing - stay safe and be kind.

Regards
