Waikato Golf are holding a Secondary Schools Strokeplay and Matchplay Event from Monday 28 March to Wednesday 30 March 2022.

There will be tee times available for members and visitors to play, just go online and book in or phone the Clubhouse shop on 07 871 5661 to check availability of tees. On the days of the Seconday Schools event, Mary, Murray and Lauren will be their to help you and will do their very best to accommodate you with a tee time. So please check in with our staff to avoid interruptions of play.

There will be tee times on Hole 1 and Hole 10 throughout the event. On Monday the Secondary Schools 27 Hole Strokeplay event will be held starting with 18 holes from 8.35am and then in the afternoon a round of 9 Holes starting at 12.54pm.

Tuesday 29 March 2022 will be the start of the matchplay rounds of 18 holes, again starting at 8.35am from Tees 1 and 10. Then on Wednesday 30 March 2022 will be the start of semi-finals in the morning starting at 8.21am, followed by the Finals in groups of 2s starting at 12.40pm.

Thursday 31 March 2022 will be a normal day and on Friday 1 April the course will be closed for our Sponsors Day.

Please remember, coring is starting next Monday 21 March 2022. All volunteers are welcome to help Clint and his team. Also Lauren sent out an email with our reciprocal rights courses, please phone the Club first, for a tee time.

Covid 19 is still causing angst in the community so please if you are feeling ill please stay home. Keep safe and well and good golfing.
