Welcome summer!!!!!!! What a busy October we are having. King Country Championships at Piopio, Waikato Masters Quad, Sponsors Day, Morepeth Vases, Dunes Quad and still to come the Ladies have their mystery bus trip tomorrow, our Pak n Save Meat pack Open on Monday the 26th of October, Twilight starting on the 28th of October. Isn’t it great to be busy?

 

We had 3 awesome volunteers helping with coring on Monday and 2 more here today. Thanks so much for all your help, without all of our volunteers we wouldn’t have such an amazing golf club.

 

Thanks to all the help Karina and I have received in the kitchen, shop and bar over the past few months. You all are awesome.

The Dunes Quad brought some of the best woman golfers in the country here to Te Awamutu Golf Club. Brendon and Phil had our course looking amazing. Karina got some amazing feedback about the Friday dinner, Saturday and Sunday Breakfasts, Saturday and Sunday’s lunches. Well done to all our volunteers that came and helped. They loved everything so much that its back here next year (only if they can have the same catering) their managers meeting asked. Also well done to Kelly and Jill who played for the Waikato Team. You two have done our club very proud. Waikato and Auckland drew 2.5 to 2.5 wins with it going back on matches won over the 2 days. Unfortunately Auckland just got there by 2.5 matches.

 

 

We have a lot going on in the next few months. Come down and enjoy our amazing golf course.

 

Our greens have just been cored and a few bunkers have been refilled.

 

 

We have 8 carts to hire. It rather cheap for all our members. Come in and take one for a round.

 

This Monday we are having a Pak n Save Meat Pack Open.

 

Tee off between 8 and 11am.

 

$20 entry

Twilight Starts on the 28th of October, tee off between 12pm and 6pm.

 

Anyone can play. Bring all your mates!

 

Twilight business house teams starts on the 4th of November.

 

$150 a team of 5.

Our AGM is on this day with our Closing Xmas Tournament and then Club Prize giving after.
