Managers Notes
Hi all,
Winter is here, we have had some good frosts.
Thanks to everyone that have been coming out and entering our tournaments during the week. The support that the club is getting from everyone is amazing. Please carry on your support, it is vital for our club to have the support of our members in order to keep running efficiently.
We have our Gener8 Te Awamutu Open this Sunday. Ring the golf club on 07 871 5661 to get your name on the starting sheet. We have a great Titleist and Footjoy prize table. This is one of our big tournaments, your support would be greatly appreciated.
The positive comments about our trial of a new course layout has been great. Everyone seems pretty excited.
Our course will be changed for the trial from the 1st of July until the 18th of July.
Club championship strokeplay has started and some really good scores have been coming in. Keep it going everyone. Remember for the Men, it is the first 3 rounds that you choose count. NOT 3 out of 6.
Good Luck to everyone playing in our Gener8 Te Awamutu Open and Our Club Championships.

Club News
Sadly the Waipa Challenge was postboned due to the weather. New date will be advised soon.
All the Pennant days, business golf days and Kiwipro days that we have hosted have given us some amazing comments about our course and facilities. Some very great news that everyone is enjoying our golf club.
Remember to like and share everything on facebook. The more shares and likes we get the more people will see everything we are posting. We also run competitions, you have to be in to win.
Our midwinter midweek open went really well with 40 entries and the winners taking home $350 Sun Mountain Bags.
We have 2 more TVs that are getting installed very soon, thanks to Gener8, so everyone can see the results from anywhere in the club house (hopefully)
The two trees by the green keepers shed have been removed on ten. They were very rotten!! Now everyone can have a go at the green maybe!
We have a Wednesday Scramble from 11.30am now. Join in with our Wednesday group and play in our scramble.
We have a few changes in the club house happening over the next few months (watch this space)
If you need any coaching, ring Marnie MaGuire. Shes here every Tuesday 027 504 1681
With all the wet weather our course has 15cm clean and place through the green.
Enjoy these winter days everyone!!
